COCON Robotics signs exclusive Robot Phoenix sales agreement for Indonesia and Japan

COCON Robotics signed an exclusive sales agreement with Robot Phoenix on 12 August 2026 for Indonesia and Japan. The agreement supports sales and distribution activities within its agreed scope.

COCON provides a point of contact for application requirements, robot selection, and integration planning. Product eligibility, availability, delivery schedules, and support are defined through the agreement and each project’s proposal.

Robot Phoenix’s public portfolio includes BAT delta robots, Python SCARA robots, Mantis six-axis robots, and Camel mobile robots. These categories support different approaches to industrial automation; suitability must be assessed for each application.

Technology

SEER-based fleet management for robotics integration

COCON Robotics uses SEER fleet management technology for robotics projects that require mission allocation and robot coordination. Configuration follows each facility’s workflows, layout, equipment, and operating requirements.

Available capabilities can include task allocation and priorities, coordination of routes and shared resources, robot and task status monitoring, and exception handling. Supported interfaces and APIs enable connections with facility systems, subject to project requirements and compatibility.

For operations teams, this can reduce manual task assignment, coordinate shared routes and areas, and bring exceptions into one view for follow-up. Timing, capacity, and reliability targets are tested against actual facility conditions before handover.

Fleet management platforms such as RDS/M4 coordinate tasks and fleets. SRC controllers handle onboard robot functions, including navigation. These are distinct roles: scheduling software does not replace robot controllers or safety systems.

Software products and versions, robot compatibility, licensing, and performance targets are defined within each project’s scope. Not every robot needs SEER fleet management; requirements for Robot Phoenix arms, for example, depend on the application.

COCON Journey

Building on our Da Vinci development experience with OKI

COCON Robotics thanks the OKI team for the opportunity to contribute to the Da Vinci software development project. The collaboration formed part of our experience in turning user requirements into working systems.

In a meeting with the OKI team, we reflected on that development experience and exchanged views on robotics and physical AI. The conversation also explored possibilities for future collaboration and continued exchange. Both teams expressed appreciation for the development work undertaken.

For COCON, the next step is to strengthen the capabilities that connect software with robots operating in real facilities. Operations management, task coordination, and maintainability are important areas in this direction.

We value the relationships built through this work and aim to keep improving our capabilities through practical projects and dialogue with industry partners.
